Premiere Orlando Recap
Jun 08, 2017
Omg… Premiere Orlando… you were really the best! Between Harry Potter World, Zumba dancing, and great new friendships made, this has been my favorite show to date. It wasn’t ALL fun and games though; lots of hard work went in from our team as well as the local market. Thanks for your dedication =)
You may be asking yourself, “What do you guys actually do at shows? Because it sounds to me as if you are just having tons of fun and can you really consider that work?” the answer to that question is YES!! It is a great deal of work! Let me walk you through a typical Trade Show weekend…
Day 1: Travel day and model call– Travel days make for LONG workdays! We usually leave our home bases early enough to make an evening model call. The team meets up at the designated location, divides and conquers. The Artistic Team pick their models and a schedule is made for the show days. This process usually lasts around 2 hours from start to finish.
Day 2: Set-up– Set-up days can be easy… but they rarely are =). On these days, we will go to the site of the show and “get our bearings”. We make sure our booth is set up correctly and prep for the opening day.
Day 3-4: Show days– okay… this is what we’ve been prepping for. It’s SHOWTIME!
A typical show day starts around 9am and can go as late as 6:30pm. Models arrive at designated times during the day.
The Artistic Team members each take a turn on stage where they educate and serve as brand ambassadors for Sport Clips.
Each will highlight their own career development and growth within Sport Clips to serve as examples of how others may be able to grow and develop.
In addition to all of these things, they also provide our models with a Championship Haircut Experience.
So that, my friends, is a typical Trade Show weekend. Please note; I have not highlighted any of the things that could go wrong and create even more work for the team but who would want to read that anyway?
In closing, thanks to everyone who helped make this show a success, we truly appreciate your efforts! And as for you Premiere Orlando, we’ll see ya next year!
